Health Literacy and Plain Language Skills
for Clear Health Communication
This is a terrific opportunity for you and staff at
your institution to better understand the process of writing health documents
for readers at differing literacy levels. Sue Stableford is a nationally
renowned speaker, and we are confident that anyone attending this session will
feel like this is a wise investment of their time.
In addition to the librarians who have already registered, we are pleased by the
variety of other health care professionals who also have registered. Note that
pending approval, both MLA and Nursing CEUs will be awarded!
Even if you are
unable to attend the program, please make every effort to notify folks at your
institution who might benefit from this educational program! Any staff
responsible for creating and distributing patient information materials will
find this useful! See the links below for materials, and we thank you in advance
for helping us make the most of our grant funding!
